Hello everyone,

I am brand new to Range Rovers because I was just given one by my father that he bought in 2018. Thing is he has driven it 3 times and my Uncle drove it some. It has sat for a couples years now in my father's yard. Now, he's decided I'd be better off with it. The issue:: Everything works absolutely fine except for when you crank the vehicle certain lights will flash. Sometimes it's the blinkers, sometimes it's the small lights beside the headlights. If you turn the headlights on the dim light will not flash but the rear running light will. Once you turn on the high beams the headlights will been to flash. Sometimes the lights will flash even when the lights are off. He said it has done it before but it stopped doing it. Now when I say flashing that's a good description for the blinkers and small lights by the headlights. The rear runners though are more high paced flickering though. I hope this isn't a huge electrical issue. Has anyone had this issue or have any suggestions??

First checks with any range rover is to make sure the battery is 100% ok whats the voltage on the battery before you start the car and what is it running at 2000rpm with all the lights and heater on full.
and what model RR engine etc etc.
Ok. I will figure this all out soon. I'll be able to say which motor it is tomorrow. It's a Range Rover HSE if that tells anything.

Take a look under the inner wing on the drivers side, the plastic inner arch hides an earth wire that is prone to shorting and damaging its contact surface 🤔

Shorting? to what - ground?
I think you mean corroding, giving a resistive path to ground. Although the issue does sound like the LCM need to be checked for water ingress - it's at the bottom of the RHS 'A' pillar behind the footwell trim.
