FL2 rear hatch lock jammed .

Hi all.
A friend has jammed the rear false floor web pull handle into the lock latch . The CL is not opening it and the web cannot be pulled free.
Any suggestions as to how I can gain access to it or is there another mechanical handle that I can operate to open the hatch ?
I intend to go over and look at it for him tomorrow so have not actually tried anything as yet .

Rough as rats proposal here......when you go over to help him, take a crow bar. Someone gently lever inside with the crow bar in the gap between plastic trims as someone operates the button outside and pulls.......

Had that same problem push really hard on the tailgate whilst pressing the open button on the fob .third hand operates the latch good luck

i was going to say what denboy suggested - Try and take the pressure off the lock to let the solenoid work rather than force it. maybe push the tailgate while trying to pull the web out? good luck
