FL2 - how to turn off SatNav?

You can't. It's hardwired straight into the infotainment system. The only way to turn it off is to pull the infotainment fuse, which kills the audio system too.
If I'm not using mine, I simply put clock on the screen.

That's an expensive phone holder. A new screen is over £1000.My phone holder is stuck on to the screen and it is beeping like crazy
I use my nav quite often, and I most definitely wouldn't stick anything on the screen, when the air vent is right next to it to clip a phone holder too.

Doing anything that breaks the MOST loop, or generates codes will prevent other parts of the system from working. The only way around it would be to install a MOST loop bypass, and have the Nav removed from the software, so it won't flag codes. It's a lot of messing about to mount a phone, when other options are available which don't devalue the vehicle.

J Clarkson put a sat nav on a flat screen in a car as a joke. Since then loads have copied it. I had a hire car which someone did it to. Chap delivering it pointed it out. Mark still there but working at the time. Most expensive damage so far in their fleet was 2k7 sovs. He said one of the new audi's is 4k sovs. Person hiring it pays if they damage the screen.
