hey guys, could anyone bestow some wisdom on me regarding issues I might have when putting non-OEM alloys on my freelander

i'm sure i'd read somewhere (cant find it now though) that landrover dropped a bit of a bollock as some models weren't comatible with other alloys, something to do with the drum size and/or clearance??

I was thinking about putting some different wheels on there but dont want to splash cash and have to deal with alloys that don't fit

i'm currently 'cruising' about in a Y reg (2001) gaylander s - station wagon

thanks :)

I only know that the wheels on a pre-facelift model won't fit on a facelifted model, wheras the wheels on a facelifted model will fit on a pre-facelift model.

I think thats the right way around.

Not sure about non-oem though.

yeah, I was joking there

the cruising comment was because alloys are something a boy racer would flap about and the gaylander was to try and look cool amongst the FL haterz <- more gansta slang there :D
