Fitting a super charger

Could I fit this super charger to my 2.5 petrol engine, or is it all a marketing hype and what difference would it make.

electric 'supershargers' are a load of crap, they will only loose you power! if you really want to fit a supercharger fit a real supercharger or a turbo, small ones of either shouldn't require any other mods (well apart from the bits to fit them to the engine) the only way one of there will make you go faster is by making your wallet lighter

Well looking at that thing, I'd reckon that you could make one yourself with a 3 quid computer fan from maplins a bit of plastic tubing and a couple of jubilee clips. A total cost of around £5 to restrict your airflow and get laughed at when you take it for a service!

this would do the job (you would need to fit a small block chevy motor too tho

search on ebay for one of them mini blowers, there's a reet shed load of em going fairly cheap. but to be honest once you done all the work involved in fitting it, it would be easier and cheaper to drop in a V8
