Hi
first post here
I have just bought a 2007 fl2. i used to have a rover 2000cdi that had this gadget fitted to the fuel line but i never new what it was till now IE a fuel economiser it consits of a small alloy block with three wires coming out of it one red one black and one grey that is about a meter long
on the rover ths wire was wound round the fuel line after the filter but before the pump. I kept this gadget when i traded in the rover.
since then i have been trying to find a installation manual for it but cant find one.It is an EC-Co 2000.
Does anyone know how this should be fitted properly and would it be worth fitting on my FL2
Many thanks
Will

Throw it in the bin. The tiny saving in weight will be the only extra economy it ever provides. Every single one of these things, no matter what the "science" behind them says is a con. Various bits of electronic shart, magnets clipped around the fuel lines, charcoal things that you drop in the fuel tank.......Snake oil - all of them.
