Well done!

Perfect timing, to commemorate this moment I declare that this Friday be a bank holiday so all can celebrate that Marky has finally fitted is unit "well done" and god bless all who sail in her....!

Soooooo PICTURES...

Very good price on the pipes Hippo, I would have thought it would have been alot more, sure I had to pay £110 for the MG and that was standard not SS....

Was it a special.....? If not post details can look into that, would look ever better on mine!

yes a complete bargain i think.

There very hard to come by, they have to be custom made when you order them and the cheapest i found was over £500 !

and its all stainless steel, so never needs changing as it doesnt rust :p

and it sounds quite nice :p

probably louder if used on a rubbish petrol engine :D:D:D

yeah mate...absolute bargain! and just to make anguslives even more gutted when i was having a clear out a few months back i had a miltek stainless cat back system that i bought for my old 1.8 es....let it go for 50 quid!!!!

lol mark !

well mine was off a petrol previously anyway as i cant seem to find any for the diesels - i dont know why not ??

anyway it fits no different than the original - no mods required to get it to fit.

The outlets where lovely and shiny before sticking it on my black puffing beast ! lol there now black !

looks great in the mirror tho when driving. stick your foot down and you can see two nice smoke trails behind you and i dont know about the poor driver behind :p:p:p:p

coolio kiddo :D if you're gonna be anal about it do what my mate does with his.....he carries a pack of wipes in his doorcard pocket and wipes the tips everytime he gets out LOL

So I'm gonna nick a freddo frog from one of the kids easter eggs and munch it all to myself...:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Hi all. Sorry not been about for a bit.
Marky. Glad to hear you have finally fitted a working unit.
Mine is still working spot on even with the HK system.
Just installed a USB socket to replace the flying lead. Will submit photos
Still need to buy and fit reversing camera.
Must admit still can't get the storks working
Still unsure of the correct cabling but will get it sorted
One day.

Cheers Taz...HK all sorted, just needed a bit of rewiring to get the amp up and running but sounding pretty good :D

stalk is easy mate, got mine working first time lol ;)

look forward to the pics of the usb socket, can't do it with mine cos the mini usb is on the face of the unit :(

My unit has a mini USB on the front and a standard
On the rear.
Are the stork cables in the White plug connector
At the rear of the unit?

yes stork connection cables are part of the white iso socket in the cars loom.

you need 3 cables (which are at the bottom of the plug)

cant remember what colours you need if you look down this thread to an earlier date i posted all the wiring config for the stork controls :D

Here u go Taz....3 wires next to each other on the bottom row...ah, hang on, you've got the standard iso plugs anyway cos you'd got the becker unit didn't ya? Not sure which plug they're in but the wiring colours will be the same.....

Red / black on cars loom = ground / 0v / earth
White / black on cars loom = key 1
Black on cars loom = key 2

I had the the single cd Becker unit with multichanger
There are 2 connectors at the rear of the unit.
Both are whitish in colour
Will have a look over the weekend if I get chance
