Was going to make a join just rearwards of the air tank because the pipe looked solid. Closer inspection revealed that the full pipe had to be replaced. Eventually got the pipe fed through, what a palaver. looked like I would need to take off the air tank, but managed, then had to take off the heat exchanger to get the old pipe off. Anyway pipe on and the brakes bled. All hunky dory, but I think i'll take off the tank to give me space to tidy up the run of pipe. Only problem though is the the tank bolts look and feel if they will snap.
