Hi All,

Well after 9 Months of carry the bump around, it decided Thursday 6th July at mid-night was the best time to start things rolling.

By 12.30am Saturday 8th July we were in the labour ward.

And By 2.47pm Saturday 8th July Out it popped.

We have a lovely 7lb Baby Girl and have named her Olivia Ria Nettleton.

cant even start to explain how happy i am, but its a better feeling than owning any sports car and thats not bad.

Will pop back on asap but the 4 hours sleep is making typing tricky lol.

And for all the soon tobe mums and dads Day 24 and i really dont think its all as hard work as people say. But then again we both really wanted this more than anything.

Cheers

Sweet memories for us (41 years ago for us :D :D )
Take care of both the mother and the baby and don't forget: small children small worries, big children big worries.;)

Morning All,

Thanks for the kind posts, yes we are thrilled to bits and the past nine months of worry was worth it.

It was an even more special time because my mum had been released from Hospital that weekend after being very poorly since Easter Weekend!

Not had the best of last stages of pregnancy but enjoying showing my daughter (sounds strange but good) off! Being called a proud Father sounds nice too.

Oh and dont worry she has choosen her football team all ready... might help with guessing which Hospital we were at too :D

Hi all,

Well 6 weeks later and all is going well, the little one is doing great and started smiling after 3 weeks!

Have to say there has been a few tough going evenings but apart from that she has been great.

Just thought it was worth telling everyone its not all a nightmare and hopefully she will calm down even more in a month or so.

Cheers
