is that Chelsea, Mayfair or Westminster version.
what is pos Maximum train weight

5 wonderful supercharged litres, each one with its own ecu. Lol In all fairness it would probably be the tits for mooching about town and looking like a boss!! Sound great too and scare m3 owners at the lights. But think I may need to re-mortgage to get one! :(

The diesel V8 would make more sense , a defender should have torque , not ridiculous top speed as the chassis cant handle it. My 110 with its 3 ltr BMW diesel has shown me what Landrover could have built , RV8 power without the fuel thirst . JMHO

I suspect it will be limited like the 50th anniversary to 99 (all the standard tires could handle if I remember)

Personally I don't care, this will be the first engine in years that it actually deserves,

But as a minimum I;d want a TDV6

I know it's the thing that diesel's have more low down torque etc. etc. but..... the petrol engine is SUPERCHARGED, not Turbocharged, so no turbo lag, and the supercharger just hikes up the torque & power from idle onwards :D

Forget electronically limiting the car to 99mph, just lower the gearing to suit :D Loads of revs at motorway speeds, a severe drink problem, but smokes all 4 tyres when you drop the clutch (or breaks something in the driveline.... ;) ) OR as above but have an overdriven top gear with electronic speed limiting...
