2013 LR4!!!!

I am not sure how to explain this since I am still under the chock of this surprise, but to put it simply I have been handed-over a few hours ago the key of a brand new, out of the dealer, 2013 LR4 HSE. :D:D:D:D:D:D

Now I will have to drive my old P38 to my usual Garage for them to sell...

I am not sure if I will be able to sleep tonight (23h46 here already)...

I will upload a picture tomorrow (1:12, can't sleep)... And no, not stolen let's say that I have been a good element so far ;-)

LR4 is the global name for the Disco4. Although the new marketing campaign to have the same names everywhere will see "DISCOVERY" on the leading edge of the bonnet rather than "LAND ROVER".

Yeah LR4 is a Disco. Nice too apart from the side vents, never liked them on the RR Sport either. Which is also a Disco come to think of it..

So here you are

And yes this is a Disco 4, but the 2013 Version (V8) since the V6 is not yet available in Japan (We only have the latest RR here available, while the new Disco and RRS will come later this year).

According to the person how acquired it for me, the RED version was the only one immediately available and I have to say that it is pretty nice!

Nice for a freebee, no need to sell the RR though;)

Thanks. It is difficult to maintain two cars in Tokyo when I am the only driver and where space is rather expensive : 200Pounds a month for the basic not covered car park. (I have a friend that pay 500Pounds a month).

I likes that I do, nice colour and interior trim.

Now if you wish to keep the P38, I'II be happy to look after the disco for you (free parking here), I might even help with the shipping costs to the UK....

I know the feeling but ive got to wait 2 years for my new l405 :( colour & model my choice, lets just say its a present from my daughter when shes back from Canada:D:D:D

Hey I would not mind waiting for a new L405 ;-). Still very happy with the Disco4 so far pity that in Japan we do not have the fancy gearbox that you have on diesel models or the L405/EVOQUE.

Anyway, I will drop the old lady to the Garage tomorrow for them to sell, hope she will find a nice owner that will take care of her like I did. Despite everything I am sad to see her let go, I wished I could have kept her somehow.

Must be nice to be rich enough that you have friends/family willing to just give you a 70-80 grand vehicle.
