I'm after advice::: My F.W.Hs. have become leaky. I know the Fairy hubs are no longer made, but does anyone know if repair kits are available? I could fit new oil seals but if a kit is being made anywhere It would be a better job....Chris.

I have just replaced the oil seal on my front hub and the oil was in the Fairey FWH. Once I changed the oil seal on the hub I cleaned out the hub and re greased it and put it back on.

I would suggest the oil is coming from the hub oil seal.

@Others may know more as I am a newbie.

Thanks Tony,
I have just put a new 'o' seal on myself, probably as you were writing the reply, but not the right size, had to stretch it so don't suppose it will last long. must try to find one a better fit. perhaps try a hydraulic specialist.Sometimes it's the realy simple things that get on your t--s ...Chris.

Having re read the post you are reffering to the O ring on the FWH yes you should be able to pick these up.

Remember to be careful when dismantling not to break the plastic locking strip. I understand these are near impossible to find.

Regards Tony
