hi all , my clock on dash has started to either stop and re start intermittenly or just stops , ?????????? my car is 2000 p38 4.6 v8 petrol/lpg range rover vogue with the thor engine, ive had no probs with it over 3 yrs and battery is only 9 mths old heavy duty ,,i have fortunately no other " electrical issues " is the clock just worn out or is there another underlying problem ,,,not come accross this one before ?????????? any help much appreciated
cheers mozz :):)

There is a small pin on the balance wheel and a wiper which is what give the clock the pulse to keep it going. Either the pin/wiper is worn or it's dirty. On mine the pin had actually bent. straightened it out and it's been fine for 3 years now.

hi keith , thanks for your imput , i will take it out and have a look ,,will ring you if i cant access the pin ,cheers mate , how much are you looking for for the faultmate ???? cheers mozz
