Has anyone had experience of one of these failing ? I had an oil leak on my TD4 that soaked this mount/bush for a while and there seems to be a lot of play in the bush and the engine/gearbox seems pretty free to waggle about, shaking the gearstick under load.
The part number is KKH000070 which is TD4 specific (making it more expensive of course) - but it looks identical to the 2.0Di and 1.8i one - is there really a difference ?

Strange because although the brackets supporting the IRD for the TD4, 1.8 & DI will be different - you would have thought the IRD would be located in exactly the same position relative to wheels and therefore the tie bar would be the same (as in 1.8 & DI). However, when LR "improved" the parts and gave them a new part number, the old one is superseded to the new one, and that's not the case with these parts - so it does indicate that they are incompatible in some way.

I wonder if the M47 is a wider block so the IRD sits a bit further back meaning it needs a shorter tie bar?

The K series has an additional mass on it. As far as I know all the lower tie bars have the same physical dimensions but the larger bushes rubber is of a different hardness
