Hi There.
Unlike my previous 90 that had the battery under the seat my latest vehicle has the battery sat behind the truck cab on a tray attached to the roll cage, fully exposed to the elements. I have yet to wade this vehicle deep enough to submerge the battery but fear that when I do all sorts of electrical armageddon will occur. I've seen other off road vehicles with exposed batteries and it doesn't seem to be an issue but nevertheless I'm not so sure. I just wondered what anyone else thought about this or if anyone has definitive advice one way or the other.
Many thanks

Be fine just keep the terminals and the exposed cable ends lightly greased, and make sure when you put the car away the battery is clean/dry externally.

The battery is pretty immune to water.
The alternator and start motor aren't though, and will have a shorter life if submerged often.
