Hi All, thought I would share this experience with you.

I bought an Exmoor Trim Mohair Soft Top for my 90 - chuffed as meatballs...

On Friday evening the zip at the back broke - to say I was unhappy was an understatement! Tried to fix it and inevitably made things worse...

Sent a grumpy email saying that I would turn up at their factory as I only live 40 mins away.

Turned up this morning, to say they bent over backwards to help me was an understatement. Met the delightful Jan who runs the covers areas who whipped off the soft top, showed her team the problem so that it wouldn't happen again and whilst I had a cup of tea they replaced the zip.

Things do go wrong, but these guys couldn't of tried harder to fix it - fair play.

If you have a Mohair roof, check the bottom of the zips and make sure that the fabric is sown onto the zip - this is the bit that prevents the zip comming off - I can take some pictures if not clear.

Cheers

Hi. Have just bought a second-hand Exmoor Trim Mohair roof for Defender 90. Prior to fitting it, I need to obtain some of the Tenax studs to affix to the rail at the top of the tub as they were obviously left behind on the donor vehicle. Anybody know the best place from which to obtain same? Also, there's no fitting instructions and having spoken with the chap at Exmoor, they don't have any either. Anybody offer some guidance, please? Many thanks in advance.
