Freelander 1 Exhaust Td4 - size please?

I plan to order a Jetex silencer and bends to replace the ugly stonking rear silencer on my TD4 2002.

Question is, I have measured the pipe that will be fitting into the new sleeved bend and it measures 2.3 inches or 5.85cm. I can only buy 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch bends and silencer.

Can anyone with a spare rear section please measure the internals of the entry pipe (where it plugs onto the long run) and let me know that size ?

Hope it is 2.5 inches as there are more silencers available.

When I did the same mod on my V6, I'm sure I used 2.5" pipe and bends. I think I had to increase the pipe size slightly. Easy to do with a pipe expander.

I think it is 64
mm on a v6 but not sure on a td4

V6 and TD4 use the same rear silencer

They are or were made by a forum member on here. There was a group buy on here a while back. Considerably cheaper I might add.

And very nice they are too

They certainly were. Past tense as I sold my Td4 last year.

Thanks, Mansfield device looks good and I am ordering one to evaluate. Possible discount on volume appears an option if people are interested in getting more made. Problem is the distribution postage !
