ive converted my 3.5 carbed 90 into a 3.9 efi out of a disco. not 100 percent sure how old the disco was and the disco didnt have any exhausts on it when i picked it up so im not sure if i need to wire in the sensor. on the loom i cant tell if there are any wires that should go to it. i managed to get some down pipes with the sensor in it. just wondering if anybody knows how i can get this information or can tell off the loom

If it was a UK spec 3.9 Disco then it would have been running Oxygen sensors. So if you are using the 3.9 injection system the ecu will look for a signal from the two oxy sensors. So you have two options, first and best is to fit a pair of oxy sensors and plug them in.Second, not so good is to change the tune resistor for a an open loop tune one.The tune resistor is plugged into the ecu loom about 10-12" from the main ecu plug.Cant remember what one you need for open loop, but the LR W/S manual lists the different ones and their values.
Do nothing and it will run very rich.

the down pipes i have put on have a sensor on them still, just wondering if anybody knew the colour of wires that go to it cos it does seem to be running rich and have quite a few wires that dont do anything
