I've got a slim straight through back box, replacing the original large box. There's a slight increase in noise, but exhaust from turbo vehicles is lower, simply because the turbo absorbs lots of energy from the sound.

I've got a clip on YouTube, but it's not at all easy to hear the sound of the exhaust, as it quite subtle and the rest of the engine is so noisy.

Just had a nosy at your other videos, how easy is it to change the indicators to the three flash?

You need to add a separate box of tricks, which monitors the indicators which gives 3 flashes, after it gets a quick pulse.

I did experiment with making my own circuit, but ended up buying a commercial unit from the states.

I see. I was thinking is was as simply as going in to the computer and changing a setting!

That can be done on the pre 2007 FL2, D3 and RRS, but not on the FL1. The FL1 used a now old fashioned flasher unit, unlike modern vehicles that have a BCM for such tasks.

So the FL1 needs an add on box of tricks to do the 3 flashes. I couldn't do without it when I got my FL1 so found a way to add them myself.
