It seems that my fusebox is pointless because if I remove all of the fuses everything still works ! , I've been told that this means that there is a live feed on the wrong side of the fuses , how would I go about finding out where this positive is coming from , I'm assuming that it's a spade connector in the wrong place but I don't want to start swapping them around and guessing what should be where , thanks in advance

It's difficult to predict what a previous owner has done to the wiring without looking at it in some detail. You need three things, a wiring diagram for you vehicle, a multimeter or test lamp and a lot of patience. To confirm a live feed at either side of the fuse box, check it with a multimeter with the fuses removed. Look for any wires that don't look original and trace them. Also look for any damaged insulation, it might be that a live wire is shorting the fusebox. I can't seem to find my Haynes manual cos my bloody wife is forever moving stuff, so I'm not able to tell you which colour is which.

Do you have a relay fitted. Little cube probably left side of radiator where the wiring loom spilts.
