Hello Ladies and Gents,
I shall be absconding across the channel for a few days in my trusty steed. Has anyone had troubles with the diesel and as I have a 300 tdi does anyone know of any dilemas with Bio-diesel?

Heidi often goes continental and she has no trubble (200 TDi). Mind you - the prices are shocking now: even more expensive than Blighty in some areas

td4 about 7 tankfulls abroad this year no problems in northern or southern europe to report matey...didn't know it was bio diesel though...

I agree prices are pretty high though...and all the garages shut after 4pm on sundays!!!! whats that about...

Thanks Guys,
I shall keep you posted. As far as my knowledge goes I believe the bio-diesel is a tad cheaper if you can find it perhaps i'll try and get info on Garages that stock it.. I'm off to Holland and Germany for a quick trip next week...All being well with the steed..

Going anywhere near Belgium? You could visit Heidi at Ursel ;)

Quite a few European petrol stations are un-manned, you need a plastic card to operate them. These are the ones with the cheapest prices

Happy motoring!

i did 4000miles round europe eariler this year. no probs with diesel, a bloody sight cheaper than here still!

All diesel should meet the European standard of EN590. Continental diesel often contains a proportion of bio but should still meet the standard.

Cheers

Blippie
