Isle-of-wight please help

Hello I have previously posted but trying again.
I am on the isle-of-wight and need to find a starter motor today as we have a ferry booked
Does anyone have a starter for a diesel auto disco 1 I believe that they were fitted to other models
I have hit it
I have removed it and the gear spins and moves out, I have lubricated it and put it back in.
It just spins and sounds like it is not engaging with the fly wheel

@JohnM70 do you know anywhere for Disco parts? Would have to be open today!

I called out the RAC, they sent DH price the starter is gone he gave me the number of island 4x4 but this would be for tomorrow. I think I am going to have to stay until then and get the starter changed, I have it out so I know I am getting the right one

Island 4x4 probably best bet but also try Dorset Auto Spares & SES both in Newport, both may deliver if you beg enough
