Okay.... Went and picked some children up from school. Involving the A14. Got up to a decent speed and all seems well

Only slight niggle would be a little rumble at 15mph. Nothing else though :D

Got some new UJ's and rubber bits to go on one day but I think all is well for a change

Now to start the welding

Good news then.... is it looking better as well, you will notice the differnece off road as well..:D:D:D:D

I got to do my UJ's next few days, may pop to Landypart tommorrow, got no work on monday so think i'll atempt them then.

Just got to tempt NIck now lol, and do my shocks as well, lol

Matt If your old ones are going for a song, not that I sing well, I'll have them please, try to quiten down the squeek at the rear. but now the fronts started......

Bit of news for the Morroco trip.....

Saw Karl form Landy Part and he has agreed to do a Spares Kit for our Landys that will be going, on a sale or return basis for our group. :D:D:D

For the transit?

Nice choice Dan, would like to see these and compare them to my wheels. See what the offset is like.

Ive only bought on 16x8 and one 16x10 LOL
Yes for the Transit. want the 8 on the front and 10 on the rear. If the 10 dont fit ill keep it and buy another 3 for the Defender. If it does then ill buy another one of each so to have 8s on the front and 10s on the rear of the Transit :) Then its a trip to ronnie to discuss turreting ;)

Me again - can someone tell me where the Newboure site is - can't find an address for it. I've found Newbourne and thought I might be able to find the course on satellite view, but can't see it.

Thanks

Spike

Just spotted it to the north of Newbourne - Do you access the site from Woodbridge Road somewhere? Is it signposted?

At Tesco's roundabout (copdock) A14 to Felixstowe, untill the A12 juction come off there, go towards Martlesham, at the next Roundabout (Foxhall Road) take the 3rd exit, follow that road for about 1 1/2 to 2 miles you come to a Crossroads (think its the second turning on the right) turn right, down there about 1/2 mile to the right you will see a drive way with a sign saying Suffolk Lnadrover Club, take that Driveway......DO NOT SPEED down there you will be chucked off if you do, as it goes thruogh someones garden to the course.

You will see a carpark to your right park there and walk in, some of us should be there.

Oh just a quick thought,

have a read of this and make sure you Landy is up to the scrutinering, or they will not let you on the course.

Just done all the ujs, the front one had a bit of play as we found out at the show, when i checked the back one of those was about to give way( hence the cloncking we heard ), surprised it did'nt give out over the course of the weekend, sorted park brake out as well.
Only problem now i have a small shudder at about 35mph have noticed weights have fallen off a couple of the wheel, so will try and get them balanced in the morning or maybe put on my muds for a change.
see you sunday all being well.

Your wish maybe granted
But I will now not be at Newbourne on Sunday due to the following:

Not sure what I'm going to do yet, well apart from a lot of reading. To raise or not to raise.
Money is tight and they are making redundancies at work (5 managers into 4) I should know within next 3 - 4 weeks if I am safe?

But I do have a Mastercard

No idea when I did it.
havent been offroad since Bures, but I've done a good 200 miles since then

Fooooking 'ell!!

Reckless person! Get a set of the Terrafirma's I got. £250 for 4 springs and 4 shocks and all nuts and bolts.

It can be done over a weekend :)

OH SH||IT, thats not good mate, sorry did not mean to drum that up,

As they say...... you not quite seen it in rear windows but...

"ONE LANDY - LIFT IT"....... lol

The choice has to be yours, have a good read,

shame your not going to be at newbourne, you could just replce that one untill you decide.

A weekend??? You mean a morning!

A fortnight might cover it :D

Mine were a bastard to do. Bolts stuck as a **** and the phone kept ringing, people kept turning up wanting things. Everything that could go wrong went wrong while I was working on them. But I got it all done in the end..... no sheared bolts or broken things :D

Steady saves the day and all that

who is def going to Newbourne tomorrow, might need a hand to realign prop shaft, looks like i put it back out of line, thats what the bad vibe is. took out the spline to make sure it was clean apparently there are arrows to line it up, ****ed if i could see them.
