No not done much really only had the van 3weeks and 2 of those it had dodgy slave and clutch.
And I'm sure I will wear a few bits out while playing.
But my dig was a defensive reflex against my freelander :D
So not an attack on you personally mate just a friendly dig back as discos, ranges and defenders all seem to off the road more than off roading ;)

back in one piece (ish).....
On the way back I noticed a very bright spot on the tarmac just in front. Cool I thought, the fog lights that I removed and put in the shed have are working??????

Got out to find the headlight pointing down :doh:
Pushed it back into place and it stayed there all the way home. I'll have a look on Saturday.

Nice evening. The lanes are now VERY hard and I've washed my carpets again @ Terling.
I hope newbourne isn't as hard or someone (not me please) will break something.

Nice to met you Spike. Hopefully see you again on a daylight trip. Give it another month and it'll be light until 9ish :D
 
Just got back from a good evening out bouncing around some "voies vertes" with DiscoDad.

Thanks dude, it was great - my spine may tell me otherwise tomorrow!

Thought I had just got away with a dipped beam bulb blown and probably a few more scratches to the paint work, but it appears I've also lost my passenger side bumper cap :doh:

Let's hope there's a little more rain before I go out next! :)

But i need to find out where the water is getting in and more importantly get the soundproofing out.

Thinking about cutting the carpet in a way that the footwell sections can be removed before laning / fording :rolleyes:

Spike, I think thats what your previous owner has done, would explain all the loose sections of carpet.
The clip I took was only short and very poor quality, blinded by your lights :D

Thanks for the clip dude - front light seems to be working in the clip - guess it was the bump out of the ford that did it! Wonder if my bumper end cap is there too?

I think it will be!
Just watched the clip back and thats when your light failed. you can see the illumination go out as you bump up the step.
 
Well got the engine and box out of mine tonight and now have a mildly bent slam panel to prove it.
Bloody wiring loom is a nightmare, cause there isn't a plug between the engine bay and dash I had to feed all the wires from around the engine as we took it out.
Back to work again tomorrow so only gonna be able to do bits a bobs for now, but hoping to get the engine, gearbox and transfer box split tomorrow then clean the replacement engine and box on Thursday.

Give me a shout when they turn up and i will nick them off you if you dont mind :)

Was out last Tuesday night and the lanes are very hard at the moment, dried out really quickly :(
