Another Billing without a truck! Ahhh well itll get there eventually. Almost contemplated bashing the credit card today to get everything i need then worrying later but i walked away lol

Well I'm home from billing with loads of bits:) got me self rock sliders, centre cubby box, crystal halogen lamps, high lift jack, wing vents, and also got a wide angled prop for the front which has reduced the noise but I need to get one for the rear as well now and also all the junk the misus and kids came home with, was a good weekend thou and the weather was good too.

So next month is peterbourgh show who's going to that one?

So everyone had fun at billing the? I knew Ian would spend a fortune up there, bet you cant wait to get it all bolted on now!!

Me and a mate when laning sunday, had an excellent day, found some great lanes out and about including the special one again, I did unfortuantly smash my back window though, the weight of the swing away got away from me whilst nose down and smashed down hard, I think I shall be replacing for perspex to help stop a repeat! Also I have found I need that wide angle front prop, no driving issues but I can here it clicking over the rough stuff...

I have a productive weekend - Sorted my doors out and gave them a good look and there not as bad as i thought which is ace! I also fitting my CB anetnna and wired it through into the cab area ready for installation of the cb :) So all in all chuffed with my hours or so work! Looking forward to getting lanning as well at some point. Need some local to writtle lads to let me know who you are so i can meet up for my first experiance.

Orderd a new wide angle prop today from glyn Lewis very nice bloke, took loads of measurements from me and said he would not sell me a double cardon as it was not needed for my application, but if wide angle didn't cure my rumble I could return wide angle prop and then he would supply double cardon, but was adamant I didn't need a double cardon as I have not had castor correction, also ordered new wheel bearings and new output bearing so shall be busy this week fitting all me goodies.

Out of curiosity how much did you pay? I ordered mine today for the front so that will be both done...

I don't know if any of you guys are interested but I have been asked this by my brother. He is a firefighter in Basildon and a few of his colleagues have expressed interest in coming laning one day. Some of them have got 4x4's and would like to bring them, some havent. They are mainly standard I believe so it would be easy lanes, I'm just after a few people to come with us, maybe take a passenger here and there and help drag them through some muddy sections, possibly give them a bit of a scare if we can find somewhere. It's early days and I have no dates/routes set I'm just trying to get an idea of what's what, let me know if anyone may be interested...

When im back on the road i'll take a passenger, how about a day at Bures that should ease them in gently.

I was thinking that, would possibly be better at Essex off road as there's less sand, thing is they want to take theirs around I think and a pay'n'play may be a bit much, I will have to get numbers and vehicles, we may even be able to get the brigades off road tender out to play, long shot but it's been done before (I remember it braking down in a mound of stinging nettles, that one was based on a defender do no surprise there!)

Bures is more open and you can do gentle or mental, at least you can see whats round the corner so you know if you want to continue or bail.
