I have the 4-cylinder. And love it, purrs like a cat, just a bit more robust but is drinking all. Just back from a 5000 mls trip to Erbil, Iraq with no probs whatsoever.
Sure "Busterbus" could tell me, but he is bussy to put up here the best manual for LR, I've seen. So my simple question is what must be in my toolbox. Have bought another 200 to dismantle, keep the parts for when needed. Learning by doing this way is a good exercise.
So here is my problem: many years ago I was taking my VW T2 bus and my Citroen 2CV almost blind into parts. This was the time I could go into any DIY market buying a socket wrench box like e.g. the proxxon. They don't sell good boxes anymore and as it is with CheapChineToolBoxes, they brake when you need them. Where can I get such box, exactly fit for a Disco 200 tdi with the 4-cylinder, in-line engine?
Well I'm in France, they don't have it too much with inch... But I'm often enough in the UK to get things there for reasonable prices.
