Hi Fellow Landy Brother and sisters. I love Landrovers as much as the next Landy Adventurer, apart from when they start playing, Guess the problem game. I have a fl2 2011 2.2 td4 just coming upto 119000 miles, apart from changing turbo intercooler hose twice then upper engine mounts, she's been fine. Now. Driving to work the R.E.P has come on, gets to work, end of play driving home, its gone off ?, Fine for a few days then like magic pops on, tried to pin point at what point of driving it happens, erratic to say the least, anyhoo, plugged my trusty little obd 2 in and caught it error code p006a, map or maf sensor, also when accelerating it sounds like its sucking in or blowing out a blast of air, which made me think split hose, checked them all, cant find any splits, took air intake hose off to test vacuum, nearl pulled me in, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That's a MAP/ MAF correlation error, and the sound is a clue as to why. Basically the MAF is measuring more air mass, than the MAP is registering.

Boost pipes are normally an easy job.
She's going in the garage in the morning, i replaced the lower left intercooler hose about 3/4 months ago without taking the bumper off,
hopefully thats the problem(easy fix), if not, back track the system, the old original landy was probably the best and easiest to work on, Who needs sensors!!
Oh yeah i'll keep you informed on this 61 fl2's progress.

Turns out it was the intercooler hose clip not seated correctly, Phewww, although whilst up on the ramps noticed a little carbon stain on Turbo suggesting a little leak possibly, is this normal as now i'm thinkinking thats the cause of the low grumble noise from the engine when cruising at 70, sort of sounds like a blowing exhaust pipe, but not as loud.

It can happen, especially in a DPF equipped exhaust system. There's quite a lot of pressure in the down pipe between the turbo and DPF. This can cause a very slight weep of gas at the joints. Unless gas is actually escaping, there's no reason to take remedial action.
