Hi,
Trying to find out what's failed and needs replacing. I drove home from Wales with no trouble, parked up for a few hours and when I started up again I got the Reduced Engine Performance warning with the engine warning light.

I did manage to clear the codes but they came back almost immediately. One other thing I've notice it that when I start the car it turns over but stalls right away, restarting over comes this and this only happens when cold. I have only checked the boost hose that's easy to get to the short one in the front. That feels fine, can't see or feel any splits or fraying and the clips are tight.

I have plugged in a OBD thingy but it's only a basic one.

Error code are:

The hose from the air filter and into the turbo is first thing to check. Known for splitting and possibly the MAF needs looking at.

So a question regarding the hoses, the small one looks very easy to change but I'm not sure on the large hose. Easy of access and what other things do I need to remove to gain access to it?
I'm a complete n00b to working on cars.

Is this the right parts?

🤣🤣🤣 The small one is possibly the worst one to change as it's the one that goes onto the turbo. The big bit goes from the air filter housing. They will be attached with spring clamps that you will need a special tool for or you could risk it with pliers and it flying into your windscreen (don't need to ask me how I know). I suppose once you have detached your hose from air filter housing it will be worth putting an egr cleaner through.

If I am honest I would get a garage to fit it if you are a complete noob.

Some progress, I replaced the MAF sensor and so far it has resolved 2 of the error codes. I still have P0046 & P0047.
I still need to go for a longer drive to see if the other errors return.
What MAF did you use and where from was it genuine LD or after market.

An update, my FL2 is now fixed. It was the actuator and at first the garage thought it might have been the turbo too because the blades felt ceased. Anyway they managed to get them spinning nice a freely and they replaced the actuator and gave it a service and they tightened the hand brake which was a surprise.

Still it cost a decent chunk of change. But I am happy enough with the service from 4x4Rugged in Speke.
