Fellows,
After replacing my 300TDI cylinder head for the 2nd time in only 2000kms :mad::mad::mad::mad: and after the low water level sensor failed to activate (again), I have been looking at fitting an engine watchdog TM2. See;
ENGINE WATCHDOG TM2, Engine Overheating Alarm, Gauge & Sensor
Has anyone out there had any experience with this unit? Effectively the engine watchdog monitors the engine metal temperature and can be adjusted to a max alarm set point that reflects what you are doing with your disco ie towing a horse float etc.
My disco regularly operates in 30C - 40C temps so I am hoping that this device will give piece of mind.
Thoughts please????
BTW I have fitted a new radiator,waterpump, thermostat, radiator and heater hoses, pressure tank and cap.

Further to my last, Just found it listed on Ebay.
