Just gone to torque up the engine mounts and the nut has full on stripped the thread.

Now unless i'm reading the haynes wrong it should be 85nm which sounds like shed loads to me. Its just an m10 thread....

Can anyone confirm the torque? Ta.

EDIT.
First time I've been caught out by Haynes manual settings. But looking on google lots of people have stripped threads by following inaccurate Haynes data.
So I looked it up... and no-where in any Official LR workshop manual does it specify a torque value for engine rubber nuts.

And then I looked up max torque values for standard threads.
For an M10 (this is), if it is an 8.8 then 50Nm, a 10.9 then 70Nm if it is a 12.9 then 85Nm.

At best I'd guess these threads are 8.8.

Lesson learnt.
