engine management light

limp mode whats that yea on way to london it flashed then started to jerk on way back just jerked at between 60 70 but whats the cause

have you got leak off pipes between your injectors? It sounds more like you are getting air into your fuel or low fuel pressure and that is causing the stutter rather than limp mode.

its defo limp mode, it only jerks the once just before mil light comes on, leak offs were replaced about a month ago!

limp mode would usually knock you down to 30mph and about 2000 revs. I was wondering if it was a pollution light rather than ecu fault light.

i just replaced my leak off pipes as well

i dont know, because as soon as light and limp comes on, i take my foot off the gas, and the light goes back out and runs fine again until it comes back on!

sorted it! wahoo! had a word with the local freelander specialist! had to resolder the connections into the big round connector that the wires from the back of the pump come from! they get brittle over time apparentely, and is very common when somebody has been working in that area! thanks for everybodies input!

how many of the wires did you have to do is it the big white plug looking thing also how did you manage to touch them just changing plugs as its alot low dwn than where plugs are
