Hi all,

my engine has got no lifting brackets at the rear, and i can't work out where one would fit. I bought a set on ebay, but i can't line up suitable bolt holes.
this is what i bought, but doesn't seem to fit

(longer bracket)

can anyone share some photos of theirs so i can work this out?
mines a 1975 diesel 2.25
prefix 906
Suffix C

thanks

Always used a rope or strop under the flywheel housing as the lifting points were rarely there.

good thought, but i was planning to do the crank seal. as far as i can tell, you need to lift the engine while removing the flywheel housing.

the part number i found for this engine was ETC5816
but it seems to be discontinued.

i've just ordered ETC7135

so when that comes i'll find out if its the right part
