My 300tdi has started to play up, stop the engine and the coont wont start again until you take the key out and press the alarm button.

I traced it to the green box at the side of the glove box, the red wire has been cut already and a new wire run to the engine stop, there is no spider in this model.

Can this box be bypassed, I dont need an alarm or central locking to be honest. Or if you can point me to the thread on this it would be helpful before I get stuck.

Just run a wire direct to the stop solenoid and another to the starter motor. If you look behind the panel to the right of the steering column you will find the multiplug from the ignition switch. You can take your feeds from there.

The solenoid is already done but the guy that did it cut the feed from that box, I was thinking that it might back feed, or if the box is left that the alarm is gona go off driving anorl at some point as it continues to fook up. When I used to shut the glove box or drive over a bump the hazards used to go off and the central locking system fooked up and required me to stop take the key out and redo it with the button. The key fob is on its last legs anyway so would be happy to rip it all out to be honest.

Is that box just the alarm/central locking and if I take the plugs off do you have any idea if she will still run if I run direct feeds from ignition.

If you run feeds direct from the ignition and disconnect the box it'll still run.
