ENGINE immobilized 1997 4.0 land rovet

Hi just baught truck drove home and wont start ,Can any one give me info on problems getting truck to start? I have power inside tried resetting code given with truck also 1515 code, disconnected battery & reconnect also used key pad while inserting key. And to no avaial still doesn't start. Can any one help??? Thanks shoop919

Does the Check Engine light come on? If not the BECM has lost sync with the engine management computer. You will need a syncmate from black box solutions or someone with land Rover diagnostics.

Your description does not give much useful information.You could expand by telling what exactly happens,any message centre messages etc.There can be many reasons why it will not start.:5brant:
