comma engine cleaner or another brand is called gunk can be found in near any auto factors shop ie halfords n such just remember if the tin says leave it on for 5 mins just leave it for 10 as it works better
useing petrol has a knack spray it with loads of petrol leave it 5 mins give it a scrub with a washing up brush on really ikky parts spray it again with more petrol let it stand for a further 5 mins then jetwash at full blast this should shift the lot

Pity u aint closer ive got 25l of degreaser sat in the shed doing nothing
how much do you want for it Nathan? i could get a courier to collect i left my inlet manifold and rocker cover in petrol for about a week and they look mint apart from odd little bits was going to get them powder coated so they look like new with cam housing and water pump housing while engine is out might aswel make it look good im in no rush for it

whenever im drilling or machineing aluminium at any grade parraffin is the best cutting lubricant ive ever used leaves a finnish like fekkin glass after the fly cutter has done its bit

Have foound that Jizer is the best, but if you have already got bits off, a good soaking in paraffin does the trick!Jizer is another good one

try traffic film remover very good but do not leave aluminium in contact to long as it will corrode it i cleaned my engine soaked and powerwashed luverly
