engine change?..

ok let me start by saying that i'm not enjoying my 100th post!!

I'm thinking my head gasket is on its way out...(had a boiling pot on the way down the motorway yesterday)...:flame:...

the dilemma i have is that my engine has done nearly 235k miles, BUT...starts first time, and run ok...and has lots of paperwork, including head gasket less than 3 years ago...

i'm not sure whether to spend on my engine or get a replacement with less miles on it...

head off new gasket and new stretch bolts couple of hrs and it'll be good as new.
