Disco 1 Engine bay harness

Could someone shed some light on this one.
Engine bay harness there is a bunch of wires about six.they are all black with a connector black on the end.
Does anyone know what the connector is for .first thought earth's but don't think so.it has a oblong connector on.

Black wires are earth on all LRs, post a pic of that "connector" cos most probably is a so called "header joint" and it's purpose is to join all those earth wires

Ps this passes through the bulkhead into under dash

The connector is a earth header, which is bolted to its bracket behind the drivers or passenger kick panel.
