Hi All,

I seem to still have an on going problem with my P38A Rangey (4.6 HSE). It has done around 163000 miles and went in for an MOT at my local garage back in February of this year, and has remained there ever since.

Everything checks out on the car and we have also done the diagnostics, where irritatingly from the point of not being able to find a problem, the lambda sensors etc also are all fine and yet we still have a problem with emissions being 25% over the legal limit. Fuel additive has gone in, it has been run/booted to try to clear through but as far as the advice from the garage is concerned they are saying just to keep running it and it should clear. Car was standing 2yrs in a barn whilst stored due to what we thought was a misfire problem, which turned out to be plugs/leads! - Don't go there!

So, the catch 22 is obviously the car itself is fine. Emissions aren't. Can't "run it through" as it isn't road legal, yet we can't seem to establish why the emissions are so high. All in all really infuriating.

All advice appreciated.

Many thanks. :confused::confused::confused:
