electrical gremlin

one for the electrical wizards amongst you 1988 range rover classic indicator light on the dashboard stopped working the bulb is fine replaced it twice with a new one. the indicators all work fine. i get one flash of the trailer bulb light on the dash then nothing else flasher can still working, indicator still flashing as should. hazards light work fine but they are flashing on the trailer light just one flash from the indicator bulb then nothing. checked all the earths

Relay ?

do you mean the voltage relay for the dash, as the flasher relay is working fine

well the gremlin continues to wreak havoc, went out this morning to start the old girl up nothing dead, no lights nothing took both batterys off to stick on charge both showed fully charged gave them a couple of hours each just in case put them back on nothing still dead nothing off the key at all anyone any idea's ,starters fine, connections good
checked both, engine earth straps, no ignition lights at all

Duff ignition switch if it's not a fuse or bad connection.

thanks datatek i'm going to unplug the iginition switch in the morning and start going through the loom

well got the ignition lights back up good to see land rover's soldering is as good as there attention to detail when they built the roof for my old girl, now just to figure where there's no indicator light on the dash, so the orignal gremlin is still there.
