Electric Window grief

Hi all,

My front driver window keeps pausing half way up and I get the window blocked message on the dash. When you force it up its slightly out of alignment and does not seal well. You get a bit of wind noise. Glass feels a bit loose too.

Common problem? Easy Fix? Any Parts required before I pull the door cards off?

Just replaced my front passangers window regulator, removed the door card to find a split in the metal of the window regulator and one rivet loose, when closing it twists and the top corner has a gap. easy cheap fix but watch for the small clips that hold the ball joints to the arms, they try to ping off if not fitted correctly and the ball joints are hard to press back in, someone had sugested a G clamp to help pull together the joint, mine did not fit so used the wooden handle of a hammer pressed against the inner panel, they go back with a right clunk.
