hi, ive fitted twin fans to my disco haveing problems with wire breaking down what i need to know is what amp wire should be used i rang halfords they hadnt got a clue so im looking for any advice someone out there can give me many thanks regards g.peach

how many amps are they taking? what size fuse have yu got fitted?

not sure on what amp takeing as cant see any label looked at fuse supplied on inline holder and is 30amp green thanks

is that one 30amp fuse for both fans - or a 30amp fuse for each fan?

in that case you will need, at least, 44/0.30mm, 3mm2, 33amp or 56/0.30mm, 4mm2, 39amp wire.

In fairness, no-one would tell you what wire to use, professionally, unless you can tell them the current drain likely to be placed on the wire.

Do you know how much power (Watts) the fans consume? If so you can calculate the current they will draw fairly easily.
