Egr valves on Land Rover discovery 3 07 plate can they be blanked ?

Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone would be able to help me out engine management light has just come on and it is due to egr valve bank b. It is a serial number 7a does anyone know if a blanking kit will would work on this year or will engine light still stay illuminated thanks any help would be appreciated

would be a good idea to post over in the discovery section, more people to see ur post

ref ur egrs , there is no problem blanking both of them but from 2007 onwards u need to have a software patch added to put the EML light out , will cost u £180

it's not a hard job to blank them, i've done mine and took a few hours as i cleaned everything up , mines a 2006 so didn't need the patch

Mine also 06 like Garys so doddle job.

Actual egr blank is an easy/quick job.
