Can any Landie owner help me here. I have a TD5 06 plate, when I turn the key the engine management light comes on (one with the thunder bolt through)as well ( flashing) after a while it will go out and the landie starts up no proble…..if I try to start before hand after the heat coil light goes out it will not start, could this be the immobilise…..notice the battery has gone on the fob and having to use the key.

Change the battery in your fob Can course a lot of problems the mobilise works on a coil round the key slot but follow the correct installation As in the manual to prevent further problems it's all in the owner's manual

The vehicle reads the fob not the key, changing battery first has to be the best place to start.

Glad it worked changing the fob batterie yearly can save you a lot of problems thay do weird things when thay go flat did you have to reinstall the key code some times you have to so if you haven't got it JL will give it to you
