Anyone want to buy a discovery 3 all engine management lights are on however it needs a new clutch so from what I've read on here until I get clutch fixed all lights will stay on. I got my new electric car last week and can't find a garage to fix clutch so just want rid of it. 07 reg 150,000 7 seater £2,000

Yikes that’s a bit high for an 07 , particularly it needing a new clutch , along with if the new upgraded pump has been changed, then the management lights can be a multitude of things

think u would be lucky to get 1k for it considering a lot more are now coming on the market

Not being horrible just honest opinion

I thought that last night but didnt want to post it & upset her, im glad you took one for the team :D

I had look under "advanced search" "sold listings" on the bay.
didn't dare say what I found!!:D:D:D
So @gstuart is the maaaan!!!

I buy all sorts of scrap as you know lol but would give that a wide berth unless it was free, a decent clutch
is 400 sovs then fitting, plus transporting it here so 1500 quid & I aint seen it up close.

Too much of a pig in a poke!
Feck it, anything beyond a D1 is complex, a D3 would feck my brains out electronix-wise.
the guy who bought my work top has a MG midget in his garage, inherited from his dad, one owner, parked up when the clutch went and never touched since. Now that is MY sort of barn find!!!
Not that I'd want one, but we both know we could get it running in 5 minutes stopping in 15 and with the clutch replaced in a morning!

I seen a midget yesterday funny looking wee dude :D

I now realise he had OCD thats why it took him so long and his garage was so clean and organised...mine is a bloody mess a bit like the bloke on youtube that restores classic Italian cars...
Or Churchhouse Classics him that restores Landys...
Nice to know someone else is as messy as me. I drive the wife mad! But I always know where everything is, I just can't always get to it!
