EGR bypass kit question

Hi, just fitted my kit but the bolts on the maifold end of the EGR are stuck solid so to avoid drilling and tapping new threads fitted the blank plate between the heat exchanger and pipe with a couple of long bolts.Can anyone see a problem do this? or am i going to have to get my drill out

No that will work. Soak the manifold bolts in "plus gas" or similar and keep giving them a spray every day for a few days. They will come out eventually but it just takes time and patience. You only need to get them out if you want to remove all the EGR gubbins.
