took the rangie on hols to devon and it became ahstmatic on the first hill it found ,temp went up a wee bit and lost loads of power pulled over and smoke coming off turbo, hoses sort of wilted, oil inside, let it cool down and carried on next big hill hot again, anyhow limped it around for aweek, and managed to nurse it back to norwich, dont get so hot around here so flat, but at 77 mph on the motorway does the same thing, took to two specialists to try and confirm my thourghts turbo has had it,but all i get is we cant see nothing wrong mate:eek:,i've given it since febuary,4xair springs, new pump, valve block, thermostat, oil, filters, chip(optional),i'm gonna feel very poor, like if you have a really fit woman who's only after your money but you just cant stop sleeping with her.

I'd start checking the air system: air filter; the pipes feeding into the compressor hsg on the turbo and make sure it's all clean; no blockages and no holes in the pipes etc; make sure it's all connected up properly. If there is any kind of blockage it is likely to lead to loss of power; white smoke (turbo overspeeding because of it) and ultimatley it will draw oil thru the turbo (the sealing system is dynamic and relies on pressure differential between the centre hsg and comp hsg and the centre hsg and the turbine hsg to ensure no oil leakage. Any interference (such as blocked air pipes) will change this pressure differential and "pull" oil thru the turbo.

checked hoses, and specialist said they were ok,it does boost up but there is no difference in power after 2200rpm just more noise.
