edc temp sensor

Bit of a long shot here but is anyone breaking an edc discovery or have one for parts, my head gasket has gone and whilst stripping down I've found that the temp sensor (on top of the cylinder head) looks to have overheated at some point and has melted the blue connector and part of the wiring.
has anybody got this connector and a section of the wiring so That I can splice it in to my loom. I've already ordered a new sensor but can't get a plug anywhere.
will happily exchange for some beer tokens

If it helps, the connecter is just a generic 2 pin job, used on pretty much every car on the road in some guise. Pop to a scrappy, the 1st or 2nd car you check will have the plug I bet

thanks, will try to pop out this weekend and have a look, I never thought about it being a generic one fitted to loads of other cars as theres never any landrovers being scrapped round here.

yeah, VW used them, Peugeot used them, Ford used them, they are on the freelander DI too.
