ECU Wiring Loom unconnected cable

Hello all, I've been chasing the usual miss-fire on my TD5 Discovery 2 2.5 auto (02) and have found a loose wire in the far end of the loom that goes across the bulk head to somewhere behind the turbo heat shield.

Any idea where the black wire is supposed to connect to?

Best of luck the wiring diagrams for the TD5 are a bloody nightmare. The light coloured wire will be a feed and the black one a ground.
