Hi there need someones know how please.
I made a big mistake of drilling a hole through into my ecu last week, and broke the circuit board. i bought a second hand one from a geniune ebayer and the part number amr9228 was the same it cam off a 300 tdi discovery auto, with edc just like mine and now my disco cranks over but does not fire. i have the check engine light come on when first switchd on but now goes out which as before just flashed after i drilled through it. Does it have to be reprogrammed for the alarm and immobilser or is it just a straight swap out and put in the new to me one. Any help please as im getting severe ear ache from the better half. thanks ray
