submitted a report for possible stolen motor on ebay

why has the vehicle not got a v5 or reg ?
has it been in a crash or scrap ??
would you give chassie number so i can do cheacks to make sure its not stolen or been a right off ???

look it has no v5 no reg no chassis number i think it may have been scrapped previous i dont know

Looked at his history. Lots of bits like cheapo lift kit. Little worrying he's bought lwt vin plates.used for putting ratings on ramps.but it you didn't know. Surely he has a vin number. Very suss

Is it enough to do an hpi check on? Ie whole plate?

I wonder why the plastic casing is missing around the ignition / steering column... it couldn't possibly be because someone snapped it off in the process of hot wiring it could it...

If we all report it to eBay we can at least get the listing ended, police won't have any interest in it though... they never do.

if we can get the rest it won't take long on a price comparison website to work out the final letter.

I think that is a vauxhall reflection
reg looks like J32A CY?

would J be 2.5 NA or 200tdi? Not that great on defender ages...

Been through every J329 CY? and no results on confused.com suggesting at least one character is wrong

perhaps nothing after cy but dont think it is the one advertised exhaust exits different

Neither of those come up as anything

I messaged and asked for vinnumber. After all its illegal to sell a vehicle without it.

Got a reply. No vin. Have reported it. If he knows landrovers then he should know that chassis is stamped

ask him if wants to buy a v5 on private plates
